Larry Jones

Larry Jones has served on the board of Family Service Association of Greater Elgin Area for many years. He came to us after Mark Rizzo, another member of our Board, introduced him to our Executive Director, Lisa La Forge. Larry truly believes in our mission and was highly impressed by Lisa. He has also served as our Board President. Larry feels strongly about being involved in the community and serves on several boards including the Gail Borden Foundation, U46 Foundation, and the Elgin Community College Foundation where he serves as Vice Chair. A resident of South Elgin for the last 48 years, Larry retired as the Chief of Police in 2000 from the South Elgin Police Department where he served with the department for 30 years. After retiring from the Police Department, Larry also served as the Village Administrator in South Elgin for 13 years. Larry is well known and well liked in the community and FSA is proud to call him a member of our board.
