Director Of Therapy Services

Raquel Doyle is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a credentialed Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist through the Erikson Institute and the Illinois Association for Infant Mental Health. Since 2019, she has served as the Director of Therapy Services at Family Service Association of Greater Elgin.

Raquel began her career in 2013 as a bilingual therapist, providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to children, adolescents, and families. In 2017, she stepped into a leadership role, where she began mentoring and supervising fellow clinicians, supporting their growth through reflective supervision. Today, she oversees the Intake, Outpatient Therapy, Community Mentoring, and School-Based Mental Health programs, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for both staff and clients.

Deeply rooted in the values of empathy, connection, reflection, and compassion, Raquel believes in the power of relationships to promote healing and growth. She is passionate about helping others discover their inner strength and resilience, and her work is grounded in a belief in people’s ability to grow, heal, and transform when given the support and space to do so.

Born and raised in Elgin, Raquel finds special meaning in serving the community that shaped her. Her personal values closely align with those of FSA, making her work not only impactful but deeply fulfilling.

Outside of work, Raquel enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, practicing yoga, exploring new cuisines, and challenging anyone to a good board game.
