Fundraising in 2018

On Thursday, February 22nd FSA will be hosting its 5th annual fundraiser, Chase Away the Winter Blues from 6-9 pm at the Grand Victoria Casino Ballroom in Elgin. We warmly invite you to join us for a casual night of fun including hors d'oeuvres, DJ, raffle baskets, wine pull, 50/50 Heads or Tails raffle, and live auction. All funds raised this evening will be used to support our mission of providing quality, accessible, client-centered and holistic behavioral health services. For over 85 years, FSA has provided services to youth and their families. Our goal is to strengthen individuals and families so that they can meet the challenges of modern life in positive and constructive ways.

FSA prides itself on being an organization that lives within it means and manages resources in an efficient and most productive way. However, we are not living in the most stable of times for not-for-profit organizations. Any number of revenue streams appear to be in question resulting from threats to federal, state, and local funding for programs as well as charitable contributions. Surviving and thriving during uncertain times requires foresight. The support that we receive from this event helps our organization to fill in the gaps when other revenue streams disappear.

FSA appreciates the support we receive from our community and looks forward to continuing those relationships. Our community has helped us to be a stable source of support for families who are working to meet their full potential. The outpouring of support and generosity during our annual fundraiser is humbling. Thank you to our donors and sponsors as we can’t do this without you.
